# Torneos

<figure><img src="https://4067006912-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FtANROPE4RnaYJQvld3f4%2Fuploads%2FZx387a8yHiFoL82PqXLc%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=e739d4fa-908a-4f14-b428-715a4175be8a" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The qualification rules (for the next phase) are the number of best times qualified in each heat, and if required a number of Lucky losers.

In addition, a competitor distribution grid can be filled in: for each position in the starting grid, heat by heat, you can designate which competitor will be assigned according to their heat and their rank in the previous round. For example on the configuration above, the winner of heat 2 in the ¼ final will get position 3 of heat 1 in the semi final.

This grid makes it possible to apply all the rules required by the race format, including the case of lucky losers.

{% hint style="info" %}
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
{% endhint %}

## Operaciones

### Serie active

Cuando varias series se suceden en la misma manga, el indicador situado en la parte superior derecha de las parrillas, junto a la navegación entre rondas, te permite marcar qué serie está en curso:&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://4067006912-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FtANROPE4RnaYJQvld3f4%2Fuploads%2Faw2YSeyzgwPuisdCB8Xk%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=e2f16181-1596-4b8f-8142-58b3a7de7a99" alt="" width="109"><figcaption><p>La situación activa es Manga 2, serie 2</p></figcaption></figure>

The acquisition of results is carried out in the same way as for a standard event. The only notable difference is that you will have to indicate a start time for each of the heats, when a phase takes place in several heats. The Event / Starts screen will display a list of predefined starts for these heats.

{% hint style="info" %}
The participant and result grids can be grouped by the Heat column for more efficient viewing.
{% endhint %}

## Calificaciones

But if you have defined complete qualification rules, you can simply display the new stage and click on the button `Event :: Event / Stages :: Qualification for next phase` on the ribbon.

<figure><img src="https://4067006912-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FtANROPE4RnaYJQvld3f4%2Fuploads%2Fec3tdKxw7w4mVFuawRmc%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=a0138105-7bd7-4d6f-a385-66f238ebb401" alt=""><figcaption><p>Preparing final phase from ½ final results, Women</p></figcaption></figure>

The wizard displays the current phase results on the left side and the start list for the next one. It also lets you choose between several methods:&#x20;

* Alternancia sencilla entre competidores seleccionados, mediante arrastrar y soltar en la lista del lado derecho
* application of the rules defined for the organization of [rounds and heats](#rounds-settings-and-qualification-rules)
* work on other generic rules, for example for qualification after several trial rounds where we are looking for the best lap performed over all the rounds

To make it easier for you, competitors designated as qualified or lucky losers based on the selected rules appear colored on the left. If you're happy with the selection all you have to do is drag them or click the execute button (`Prepare heats` in Tournament Mode).

## Impresión de los resultados

Simple printing of the results of a round is of course possible, but you will be more interested in the presentation of the overall results - all rounds combined - on a single page. This printing is accessible from the menu `Print-Export :: Printing shortcuts :: Brackets`.&#x20;

2 modes are available: a list/ranking of all competitors with their final rank and information on the last phase they respectively reached, or a table view of the tournament which includes the phases and heats.

<figure><img src="https://4067006912-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FtANROPE4RnaYJQvld3f4%2Fuploads%2FQxR1Wh3eXbQAJTVZexL4%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=e2b26d60-36db-4b22-999b-14783145d2d9" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Pantallas Live

Some custom Live Screens can be implemented for tournament events. The specifics of this type of event are as follows:

* The start lists and results sent to the screens are those of the **active round**, but also more precisely of the **active heat**. Both can be selected from the main window, with immediate effect on the screens.
* The style of the results lines can be customized to display the qualified and lucky loser marks.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.wiclax.com/es/los-diferentes-tipos-de-prueba/torneos.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
