We offer a hosting space for your rankings on our own server.

This is an option. To benefit from it, you need to order it on our website wiclax.com.

Once we have received your order, you will be asked for the sub-domain name you require to obtain a final URL of the following type https://mytimingcompany.wiclax-results.com. For this documentation, we're going to work on the basis of a Wiclax sub-domain with a final URL of the type https://wiclax.wiclax-results.com.

Note that very soon, a premium hosting option will allow you to obtain a URL of the https://results.maboitedechrono.com type, in the form of a sub-domain of your own domain. This redirection will enable you to integrate your rankings perfectly into your own site, while still being hosted by us.

The first step is to choose the hosting option on wiclax-results.com

Next, in the Web publication window which opens, we create a new event corresponding to the event currently open in Wiclax. To do this, simply click on the button and enter the name of the event that will appear on the site in the Name field in the window that opens.

Once validated, the test directory is created on the hosting space and all that's left to do is upload the test file for it to be published online!

Once this action has been completed, you can view the online ranking at the results address displayed in the window.

Now that the rankings are online, you need to synchronise them to keep them up to date. To do this, we can tick Automatic synchronisation of published file (FTP) from the icon at the bottom left of the main window.

It is important to understand that this synchronisation will update the data on the Results and Competitors tabs every 180 seconds.

If you wish to speed up the updating of the online ranking, you can force the update at any time by clicking on the button in the Print - Export tab of the Ribbon. This is what you do when the first runner in a trail finishes, for example.

To go further in setting up the results area, you need to connect to the administration page by clicking on the icon in the Web publication window.
